Dollywood, Filled with Flowers

In May 2022, we went to Dollywood for the Food and Flower Festival

This topiary is a depiction of Dolly’s song Coat of Many Colors

As she sewed, she told a story
From the Bible, she had read
About a coat of many colors
Joseph wore and then she said

The umbrella canopy is located at the front of the park along the ‘Main Street’

This acrobat show was fun, the vibes were quite Cirque du Soleil

Josh tried out the Blacksmithing experience, and made a knife out of a horseshoe

This was B’s first time trying Blacksmithing! She made a knife out of a screw

We had a wonderful weekend! Here’s a couple tips if you’re planning a Dollywood getaway:

Check out Gas Station Coffee for your pre-park caffeine fix, it’s adorable
In the Vlog above, we go to Smoky Mountain Espresso
We also liked The Tennessee Grind and they had excellent local kombucha
Found great deals at the Green Olde Antique Mall, 1442 Winfield Dunn Pkwy, Sevierville, TN 37876
For food inside the park, I recommend The Front Porch Cafe, especially if anyone in your party has food allergies
Don’t forget to take closed-toed shoes if you want to try out blacksmithing inside the park
Stop by Pigeon River Pottery before you leave town
