It’s Summertime, and the living is easy.
But, some are!
Happy May! What are you grateful for today?
Lately I’ve been grateful for cactus flowers and how beautiful things can grow from sticky situations…
For honeybees and the wisdom of beekeepers who’ve spent years tending them…
For the company of family and how lovely it is when you can share passions with them…
For shared Zionism, and that we’ve been in this together since day 1…
For memories of times before smartphones, and how some people are constants in our lives…
And for a new type of work-life balance. The photo above is from my second week at a NEW JOB- the face is me realizing that I’m home at 5:30p after getting gasoline and a car wash. What is this life of luxury?
2022 seems to be flying by already!
Lately I’ve been grateful for…
Sweet meetings, and instant love.
And cousins who are so much more than cousins.
For purple peppers.
For football fans,
And beignets with wings.
I’m grateful for moving days and fresh starts,
For old memories of our first date (12 years ago!),
And for this man who will always be the uncle to my nephew.
Here’s to gratitude
and how it changes everything.
Lately I’ve been grateful for grocery store flowers.
And cozy blankets.
For new additions to my extended family.
And for juniper lattes.
I’ve been proud of her accomplishments.
And excited for my own, too.
Most of all, I’m grateful that tomorrow is brand new with no mistakes in it yet.
Happy almost 2019, friends. Hope you’re enjoying the journey!
Lately I’ve been grateful for encouraging notes.
And for scarf weather.
I’ve been grateful for macarons.
And for brunch dates.
For appropriate headwear.
Of all kinds.
I’ve been grateful for cookies.
And for beloved friends with babes on the way.
I’ve been grateful for kitty snuggles.
And family gatherings (with photos that capture our spirit nicely).
What are you grateful for in this wonderful month of November?
Lately I’ve been grateful for bellinis…
And sweet visitors to share brunch with.
I’ve been grateful for sukkahs.
And times of rest.
I’m grateful for birthday cakes with purple inscriptions.
For Mary Poppins-inspired umbrellas (and for Mary Poppins in general!)
And for squirmy calico kitties.
I’m grateful for the refreshment of cold kombucha.
But most of all, I’m grateful that I met this guy right around 10 years ago. Cheers to the next 10 years of flirting with you, Handsome.
