Lately I’ve been grateful for…
Christmas gifts that make me feel loved and known.
Craft beverages and tomato soup.
Whirlwind big city adventures.
Delicious brunches with my favorite man.
Velveteen dresses.
My favorite tiny cookie cutters.
For time to paint, and fuzzy little muses.
And for beautiful snowy days in Georgia.
In November 2017 we completed the Flavor Run 5k for the second time!
This was the final race in mine and Carol Anne’s goal of completing twelve 5ks in twelve months! We circled back to the first race we started with, and it felt amazing to be back where we started and see the progress.
For our October Race, we completed the Bubble Run 5k at Lake Lanier. This race boasts a 3.1 mile distance with interspersed multi-color “Foam Bogs” (bubble stations). Since this was a less serious race than some of the others, Carol Anne and I once again opted to dress with a bit of whimsy — this time, as DONUTS. Who doesn’t want to think about carbs during a run?
Lately, I’ve been grateful for beach trips.
And family time.
For new houses and fig trees.
For dress shopping excursions (and finding “the one”!)
And for the instant film that makes capturing these memories so fun.
