. . . for brides in white dresses.
For $6 trifle bowls, and lemon custard.
For this “Fuzzy Thing” who makes life more fun.
For sweet cuddles with this babe while her parents eat dinner.
For the way he talks to her.
And for mixers from 1957, and the repairmen who know how to fix them.
Lately I’ve been grateful for camellias that remind me of my Papa Jim…
For queen bees set free from their boxes.
For docks and the blueness of Lake Lanier.
For homemade vanilla lattes.
For the love between these two, and the kippah on my brother’s head.
For instant photos (as always!)
For finish lines.
And for blooming azaleas.
I don’t have many photos from our family Messianic Passover Seder, but what a wonderful night it was! 22 seats were filled with family and dear friends.
Scott did a lovely job leading the Seder. Arabella asked the Four Questions beautifully, and received a hefty cash prize (collected on the spot from the Seder participants) for returning the afikomen. Mom made braised beef and Autumn brought matzoh ball soup, while Dana decorated the tables and I lit the candles and arranged the Seder plate. As my Dad likes to say, “A good time was had by all.”
