For January snow days.
And sunset walks.
For opportunities to try new hobbies.
And fermentation airlocks.
For a midnight cat to sit in my window.
And the fun of wrapping of Hannukah gifts.
For new year’s eve hikes.
And national forests.
And that Not Your Father’s Rootbeer pairs PERFECTLY with Mellow Mushroom pizza.
Lately I’ve been grateful…
For dances with this amazing life partner.
For a new [birthday] coffee mug, and for a fluffy cat to claim the box it came in.
For birthday cupcakes.
For time to paint.
And for that feeling of joy and thankfulness that comes from knowing that not just one, but two of your brothers have been fortunate enough to find beautiful love stories – and to marry a woman that will love them, cherish them, and care for them, for all their days. May you have many, many first dances, Jeffery and Katie Beth.
To have these adorable party animals as parents (and friends!).
For sunny Sunday boat rides.
For the magic of an Amazon cardboard box, and this fluffy cat who reminds me to slow down and enjoy the little things like whisker kisses.
For kayak trips and fun times with my husband’s awesome co-workers.
And for 5ks and upcoming adventures!
