Christmas gifts that make me feel loved and known.
Craft beverages and tomato soup.
Whirlwind big city adventures.
Delicious brunches with my favorite man.
Velveteen dresses.
My favorite tiny cookie cutters.
For time to paint, and fuzzy little muses.
And for beautiful snowy days in Georgia.
Lately, I’ve been grateful for beach trips.
And family time.
For new houses and fig trees.
For dress shopping excursions (and finding “the one”!)
And for the instant film that makes capturing these memories so fun.

Lately I’ve been grateful for a lake to float in.
And skiers to spot.

But mostly I’ve been grateful for togetherness, and the blessing of family.

And for the old-fashioned fun of waiting for “instant” film to develop.
For $6 goodwill dresses, and a sewing machine to re-fashion them.
For new backsplashes.
And for hot summer hikes.
Lately I’ve been grateful for birthday girls.
And for pink birthday cupcakes with sprinkles.
For family photos.
And plaid shirts.
And I’ve been grateful for the Dad of this crew & his trademark mustache. He makes Father’s Day worth celebrating.
