{Florida Dreamin}

Having wonderful family members who live by the beach (and are the kindest, nicest people you could ever meet!) is a lucky advantage that we shouldstop to enjoy more often. We were so blessed to spend the long weekend of the Fourth on a whirlwind trip to see grandmothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, new babes and the ocean.

Love the view of this man, smoking a cigar on the beach – my own rugged Hemingway.

The final highlight of the trip was a long drive home with my Twinkie as we planned our next adventurous endeavor (hint: it involves mouse ears, and running shoes). Carol Anne, I can’t wait for our trip together in November!

{6 Years!}

6 years of marriage, you guys! SIX! How amazing is that? And, as my mother used to add, “we still like each other!”

Today I am grateful for all those weekend days we spent exploring Savannah, GA as newlyweds.

For special occasions to celebrate the people we love.

For mountain trips.

And hiking adventures.

For graduations.

And for holidays.

For fun vacations.

And time spent at home.

I’m grateful for this comfortable love that binds us together.

How lucky I am to be in love with my best friend.

Dear Scott, what a year it’s been! I can’t wait to spend another 6 years with you. I’ll love you when we’re 100.

Love, your K. Belle
